Calling the Christ Myth to Task

Listen to the entire radio show here (a link to Archaya's blog is to the right).

I am coming to wonder if the secret the Templars held over the papacy's head wasn't a simple deduction from their archaeological finds of these very matters, that their myth was stolen, plagiarized, and the whole Pauline setup was too fragile to withstand what can easily be demonstrated to any who have eyes to see. This makes more sense to me than any other version of a Templar treasure, one that would be used to allegedly blackmail the Roman church for centuries. It would explain why the Gnostics were hunted down early on.

No necessity for secret documents proving anything like a lineage of a literal Jesus but a truth that can be demonstrated from evidence so widespread that it cannot entirely be destroyed though I think the burning of Alexandria was an attempt. The only secret lineage, I think, is the lineage of the myth itself.

If you haven't already seen Zeitgeist, it is truly a must.
